Phil Blackburn is travelling with his men’s first team to the local polytechnic to show some York St John students who runs this town. ‘Hutch’ and 'Wildcard' clash horns on the JLD in an attempt to win the title of third best team in York, a fierce battle which the whole club should follow with bated breath. Who will win, the drunkards or the fitness fanatics?
The ladies 2 take on the might of York St John, who are rumored to contain one player drafted in all the way from Zimbabwe with family connections to a certain member of the men’s second team. There is an air of nervousness and anticipation around the university campus as the white rose hockey club plans an away whitewash! Watch this space for the inside scope!
