James Hope to Stay Another Year if 2nd XI don't Win by Phil Blackburn
May 1, 2014
Rumours have been circulating that James Hope will be so distraught and disappointed if he doesn't win at Roses this year that he will commit to staying on at UYHC for another year.
Now some of you may see it as a silver lining if the 2nd XI don't manage to get a win however, that would be wrong. For James' sake and for the improvement of UYHC it is a requirement that the 2's win at the weekend, or you will be stuck with the goat man leeching off of society for another year. I am sure I am not the only one that has grown tired of the constant growls from defence of "BACK AND ROUND! GOOOOOOD!"
As well as this, he has said that if the 2nd XI don't win he will re write the UYHC constitution and place himself as supreme leader, even in death. So a 2nd XI victory is not only in the interest of personal glory but in the well being of your fellow members.
So now it is time for the 2nd XI to stand shoulder to shoulder and let James Hope move on with his life, so go forth and earn a victory this weekend, or this club will never be rid of the dictatorial leadership of James Hope.
